As part of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Designer is a tool for creating any type of image design, from logos and invitations to blog banners and social media posts. You may have designed similar elements in Canva, Fotor, Figma, or other graphic design software before, but Microsoft Designer is smarter.
What makes Microsoft Designer different from other design tools is that it uses OpenAI’sFrom 2technology. This is an artificial intelligence that allows you to create images and artwork by typing in the text description you want. This feature will help you find unique graphics for your projects, and the images created are very realistic thanks to advanced technology.
You can also use your own images and built-in design tools to completely customize your visuals. With templates, shapes, photos, icons, text styles and color themes, you can explore different looks and get the precise design that suits your project.
How to Qualify for Microsoft Designer
Since its launch in December 2022, Microsoft Designer needs to pass a waiting list to qualify for use. You can add your email address to the list and once you are granted access, you will receive an email to log in.
The current preview version does not include all planned features, but Microsoft seeks feedback from those with preview permissions to improve the tool before it is universally available. Microsoft Designer will then be a free app for Microsoft 365 individual and home users, with advanced paid features available. Microsoft also plans to integrate Designer with Microsoft Edge. Hope to help Edge users when designing social media posts and other projects for the websites they visit in their browser.
How to use Microsoft Designer
When you log in to Microsoft Designer, you will see Designer Copilot. This tool can help you create your first vision using AI-generated images, your own images, or blank canvas.
Simply enter the visual element you want to create in the input box, such as An Instagram post about my cosmetic product launch on April 1st. Then click Generate and Microsoft Designer will automatically type and design. You can also click on the AI Generate image to generate the elements you want.
